LPC-Intern
Alba Nerea García is LPC-Intern / Master's level intern, currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Texas at Dallas. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.
Has received training in trauma and trauma-informed care through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, as well as training in Psychological First Aid by the National Child Traumatic Stress Network. She has a special interest in working with adults in individual and couples counseling, accompanying people facing life transitions and emotional challenges.
Its therapeutic approach is holistic and focused on the present, promoting self-awareness to identify non-functional patterns and generate changes that promote comprehensive well-being.
As a bilingual therapist and member of the Hispanic community, Alba is committed to making mental health services more accessible, offering a safe, empathetic, and stigma-free space for her clients.
