LPC/CBT
I am a clinical psychologist with a solid academic background and a deep vocation for accompanying people in their personal transformation processes. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology, as well as a Master's Degree in Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy from the Higher Institute of Psychological Studies (ISEP) in Barcelona. I complemented my preparation with specialized studies in emotional regulation and clinical psychoanalysis, in addition to various training in areas such as thanatology, third generation psychotherapy and grief support.
My professional experience includes clinical work in public and private institutions, including the Dr. Eduardo Liceaga General Hospital of Mexico, where I participated as a therapist in the clinic against smoking and other addictive substances. I have also collaborated as a psychotherapist in centers such as Huitzilli, Kosmus Maku, and I am co-founder of HAVIDA A.C., an organization where I coordinate the clinical area.
I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders (such as GAD, panic attacks, phobias and post-traumatic stress), depressive disorders (such as major depression, dysthymia, and perinatal depression), as well as in the support of people with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults and adolescents. Additionally, I actively work on developing emotional regulation skills.
My therapeutic approach is based on empathy, active listening and respect for each person's rhythm. From a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy framework, I integrate practical tools, psychoeducation and strategies adapted to each case, without losing sight of the warmth and humanity that each process deserves. I firmly believe that therapy should be close, measurable and meaningful.
I decided to dedicate myself to mental health after experiencing a transformative therapeutic process that helped me discover my purpose. Today, my greatest motivation is to accompany others to find their own strength and meaning, even in the midst of difficulties. As Viktor Frankl said: “I have found the meaning of my life by helping others find meaning in their lives.”.
I remain in constant training through diplomas, courses, review of scientific literature and clinical supervision with colleagues, to ensure that each person receives ethical, updated and quality care.
I am also inspired to work with the Hispanic and bilingual community, offering a safe and respectful space where everyone can express themselves in their language, without fear of being misinterpreted.
If you are considering starting a therapeutic process, my advice is: dare to take the first step, even if there is fear. Many times the beginning is the most difficult, but it can mark the beginning of a deep and valuable change in your life.
