About Llanely Siebold

Hi, I'm Llanely Siebold.

I am a bilingual educator and counselor in training, and for more than 12 years I have had the opportunity to work with children, families and diverse communities.

My career began in education. I am a certified bilingual teacher in Texas for EC–6 and STR, and I currently serve as a third grade bilingual teacher. Throughout these years I have learned that behind every child, every family and every story there are emotions, experiences and needs that deserve to be heard and understood.

That experience was also what sparked in me the desire to continue growing professionally in the field of mental health. I am currently completing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lamar University and completing my clinical training at Therapy Works Counseling Services. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and I continue to participate in courses, seminars and training spaces that allow me to continue learning.

I consider myself a warm, empathetic person and deeply committed to service. I believe that each person has a unique story and that we all deserve to have a space where we can speak freely, feel heard and be ourselves without fear of being judged.

In my work I am interested in accompanying people who are going through different moments and challenges in life, especially in topics related to self-esteem, emotional well-being, stress management, interpersonal relationships, life transitions and personal growth.

I also have a very special interest in working with women and families in the Hispanic and bilingual community.

I was born in Mexico and my own experience as an immigrant has allowed me to understand some of the challenges of adapting to a new culture, building a life away from the place where we grew up, and often trying to balance our own needs with family and cultural expectations.

Our culture has enormous richness: family, traditions, community and our values are an important part of who we are. But I also know that talking about mental health can be difficult when we have grown up hearing that we should be strong, that problems stay at home, or that asking for help means something is wrong with us.

I believe just the opposite.

Asking for help is an act of bravery.

You don't need to have all the answers to begin a therapeutic process. Sometimes we just need a space where someone will listen to us, help us understand what we are feeling, and walk with us as we find our own path.

My goal is to offer just that space: a safe, empathetic, respectful and culturally sensitive place, where you can feel understood and accompanied.

I am convinced that the training of a counselor never ends. For this reason, I continue to learn and develop new tools to be able to accompany each person in a responsible way and in accordance with their needs.

For me, accompanying others is not just a profession. It is a form of service and an opportunity to walk alongside people as they discover their own strengths, face their challenges, and build a life that makes sense to them.

If you're thinking about starting therapy, remember: you don't have to do it all alone. Taking the first step is also a way to take care of yourself.
