About Nasha Solis

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Florida and am authorized to practice through PSYPACT (No. 20998). Additionally, I have obtained professional licenses in California, Tennessee, and Maryland. I am a Doctor in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) with specialized training in clinical neuropsychology and psychological evaluation. Throughout my career I have received training in neuropsychological evaluation, trauma, forensic psychology and immigration, complementing my preparation with continuing education in various areas of mental health and clinical evaluation.

I have extensive experience performing psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults in clinical, forensic and medico-legal contexts. In recent years I have specialized in psychological evaluations for immigration processes, including N-648, VAWA, U Visa, T Visa, Asylum, Hardship and other humanitarian evaluations. Likewise, I perform neuropsychological evaluations related to cognitive functioning, differential diagnosis and identification of neurocognitive conditions.

My main areas of expertise include psychological assessments for immigration, trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), clinical neuropsychology, assessment of cognitive and neurocognitive functioning, as well as anxiety, depression and other stress-related disorders. I also have experience in diagnostic and forensic evaluations.

My professional approach is warm, collaborative and person-centred. I seek to create a space where each individual feels heard, understood and respected. I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic view of well-being, considering the interaction between emotional, physical and cognitive health to understand each person holistically and offer personalized care.

My vocation is born from a deep curiosity to understand the human mind and the desire to accompany people in important moments of their lives. I firmly believe in each individual's capacity for resilience and growth, and consider it a privilege to be able to help my patients find clarity, hope, and tools that allow them to move toward a life of greater well-being.

Staying updated is a priority for me. I regularly participate in training, courses and seminars on clinical psychology, neuropsychology, trauma, psychological evaluation and immigration to offer care based on the best scientific evidence available.

As a Latina and bicultural psychologist, I am inspired to work with the Hispanic and bilingual community. I understand many of the emotional, cultural, and family challenges that can arise when living between two cultures or going through an immigration process. My goal is to offer evaluations and psychological care with cultural sensitivity, so that each person feels understood, respected and accompanied during one of the most important stages of their life.

If you are considering starting therapy, I want to remind you that asking for help is an act of strength. Therapy can be a safe space to better understand what you are experiencing, develop new tools and move towards a life with greater balance, well-being and quality of life.
