Did you know that 20% of young people in the United States suffer from anxiety and/or depression?
Did you know that they are the most common mental illnesses?
Did you know that the rate of these diseases has increased in recent years?
Did you know that these diseases are related to suicide?
Did you know that YOU can do something?
Take advantage of the opportunity to go learn how to detect symptoms of anxiety and depression in young people. If you have a son or daughter, if you work with adolescents, if you live with young people, if you are interested in the topic, if you are a teenager, this talk is for you.
I will talk about the most common and not so common symptoms, what it means to be depressed and anxious today. I will also tell you what to do when we find these symptoms in ourselves or a loved one, how to help? to do? When to do something?
Depression and anxiety goes beyond being worried, crying and/or angry. We have to be informed to be able to act.
