A breakup is very devastating but it can result in a relationship with someone with whom you are more compatible.
In the first days and weeks, you may feel sad, depressed and like you have a void inside you. However, Over time your wounds will heal and you will be able to move forward.
Why do breakups hurt? If you ended the relationship, we often feel guilt that leads to sadness. If your ex-partner broke up with you, perhaps you are dealing with the real pain of rejection and grieving a lost love.
But how can I move forward? It's not easy, but it's not impossible either. It is normal to feel sad, angry, confused, guilty, and more. But it is important to be aware that this breakup is not the end of the world. If we use coping skills, we can control our grief and move forward.
– Prioritize yourself by doing things that distract you and make you happy.
– Keep your distance from your ex either in person or on social media
– Give yourself time, you need to give your heart time to heal.
– Spend time with family and friends
– Avoid the use of alcohol and drugs, they are not the best way to handle the pain of a breakup
– Fall in love with your life and yourself
– Go to therapy
How do I know if I'm ready for a new relationship? It may not be obvious when you're ready to give love another chance. Rather, you may never feel ready. But being open to opportunities will help you in the process. Don't put pressure on yourself and take things slowly. When the right person appears in your life, you will know and fall in love again.
When starting a new relationship, take your time and don't rush. Remember to get to know the person and Make sure that your new partner adds to your life instead of subtracting from what you have built. Seek the opinion of your friends, since they can see the relationship with rose-colored glasses. Evaluate how you feel in the relationship and whether you can truly be yourself with that person.
Don't give up, love comes at the right time!
