As the years go by we change, whether you accept it or not – you change,

We are living beings that feed on experiences which transform us. Some experiences are good and some are not, but all those experiences lived, relationships had, life events transform us, sometimes they transform us into something that we would not want and other times they enrich us and We are more than we would like to be, I hope it's the second!

When my husband asked me a few months ago if I wanted to go to a restaurant that was my favorite for many years and I told him “I don't like it anymore” he was surprised... and I thought and told him: I'm not her anymore!

I am not the same as I was 10 years ago, I am no longer in my twenties, neither my body nor my mind nor my emotions are those of a twenty-year-old woman. I love some changes, such as the maturity I am acquiring, the expertise and authority in my professional field, the consolidation of goals and many of my personal relationships that have matured with me. I don't like some things as much as the fact that it shows on my face when I'm tired, the tone of my body is not the same, and the naivety with which I lived that sometimes made things easier for me.

I'm not her anymore!... but I like who I am.

I like how much I know myself now, how much I have done for myself, the path I have traveled and where I am.

I'm not her anymore!... But I'm more, who I believe has always been there, but now I'm letting her out.

I'm not her anymore!... but now I question if what I'm going to do is what I really want to do, I question if what I feel is something learned and automatic or it makes sense today, I wonder if the person I spent my days with is still the one I want to continue walking with and I decide, I decide for what is most convenient for me. AND Deciding is a great privilege that we all have and we need to use it.

It is our task to know who we are today, what about the person we were still works for us and what doesn't, In this life we have several metamorphoses, take advantage of them. You are not a tree, you can move!

I'm not her anymore... and in 10 years or maybe less I won't be who I am now, and that's okay, today I feel good about who I need to be for myself.
